The project took place in Pori, Finland, in three public screens, situated in the street outside of KultuuriKulma, inside the restaurant in front of it, and in the lobby of SOKOS hotel. All three screens were showing the timer – seconds running backwards from 3:20 to 00:00. This is the first stage of the possible experience of the work. After the time runs out, a message appears on the screens, telling the viewer to get their „exposure time card” in the reception desk of SOKOS hotel. That way the viewer is invited to a second stage of the work - to make an active decision of going to the reception and taking the card.
On the reception desk there are 200 cards stacked in a pile, each with a different number, one for each second of the 3:20. The spectator can take a unique card and that way contribute to the physical consumption of the period of time. On the other side of each card there is an online address (www.kolme20.tumblr.com). This is the third stage. If the spectator chooses to visit it, s/he finds there photographs of the very same three places where the screens are; showing the buildings and spaces around, voyeuristic views of each place from the perspective of another one, and implying the presence of the watcher, the viewer, the somebody. It serves as a reminder that the spectator him/herself has been in those places, watched the screens, spent some time and has been exposed to the others doing so for a certain period of time.
It is entirely up to the spectator how interested s/he is and how far is s/he willing to follow the work.
